Baguettes with Eggs, Ham and Cheese

Prepare the baguette: Cut the baguette in half lengthwise and remove a little of the crumb in the center to create a hollow. This will help contain the filling.
Fill with the ham: Place pieces of ham in the hollow of each half-baguette.
Prepare the cheese cream: In a bowl, mix the crème fraiche with the grated cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add the filling: Pour the cream and cheese mixture over the ham in the baguettes. Spread it evenly.
Add the eggs: Break an egg into each half-baguette, directly on the cheese filling.
Bake: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake the baguettes for about 15-20 minutes, or until the eggs are cooked and the cheese is melted and golden brown.
Garnish and serve: Remove baguettes from oven and sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm.
