Make the cheesecake filling:
In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, softened until smooth.
Add the granulated sugar and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
Gently fold in the crushed Oreos.
Assemble the Oreos:
Using a spoon or small ice cream scoop, place a small amount of cheesecake filling on top of each Oreo. Gently press another Oreo on top to create a sandwich. Repeat with the remaining Oreos.
Make the coating:
In a shallow bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined.
Dip each Oreo sandwich into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, then back into the flour mixture to coat completely.
Fry the Oreos:
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). There should be enough oil to completely submerge the Oreo.
Carefully place the coated Oreos into the hot oil, a few at a time, without crowding the pan. Fry for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Using a slotted spoon, transfer the fried Oreos to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Decorate and Serve:
Brush warm fried Oreos with powdered sugar and sprinkle with additional crushed Oreos if desired.
Serve immediately while still warm.
