I vowed I would never eat fried chicken tenders again after I tried baking them in the oven. Why would I want to hold on to that nasty frying oil when they make me feel so much lighter than the other kind? For an exceptionally delicious crust, try this recipe’s ingenious combination of crushed almonds and parmesan cheese. You might never eat regular fried chicken tenders again after trying these.
To make the crust nut-free, you can use cashews or sunflower seeds instead of nuts. You may use whatever kind of nut you like in this recipe; you just need to experiment with the amount of pulsing in the food processor to obtain the texture you want.
