Combine Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, warm milk, softened butter, and salt. Stir well to combine.
Add Yeast Mixture: Add the activated yeast mixture to the bowl and stir to combine.
Incorporate Flour: Gradually add the flour, 1 cup at a time, mixing until a dough forms. You may need to add more or less flour depending on how sticky the dough is. The dough should be soft and slightly sticky but should come together into a ball.
