Boil and Peel the Potatoes:
The oven should be preheated to 200°C (392°F).
Rinse the potatoes well.
Separate the potatoes at the base and cut them lengthwise, but do not cut all the way through.
Before adding the garlic, carefully chop the cloves.
After making a slit in each potato, insert the minced garlic.
Get The Foil Ready:
Fold many sheets of aluminum foil into the form of miniature cups or boats.
After wrapping each potato in foil, place them on a baking pan.
Combine the melted butter and vegetable oil in a small bowl to make the butter and oil mixture.
While stirring, incorporate the oregano and salt into the mixture.
Before coating, drizzle the potatoes with the butter-oil mixture, being careful to get some inside the slits.
Distribute the leftover mixture evenly over the potatoes using a brush.
Before baking, season the potatoes with more salt if you want.
Fifty minutes, or until the potatoes are soft and browned, put the baking sheet in the preheated oven.
After taking the potatoes out of the oven, let them to cool for a while before serving.
Transfer to a serving platter or serve hot right from the foil.
Recommended Serving Sizes
Grilled meats, fish, or a crisp salad go well with these baked potatoes.

To round off your dinner, serve with a bowl of substantial soup or stew.
Practical Advice for the Kitchen
Be careful not to cut the potatoes completely through, but rather to make a deep enough incision to accommodate the garlic.
Season to taste with salt, oregano, garlic, and a pinch or two more of each.
To ensure the potatoes are cooked through, poke them with a fork before taking them out of the oven.
